Chocolate Banana Muffins
Recipe type: Breads and Muffins
Serves: 14 muffins
- ⅔ cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 TBSP cocoa powder
- 2 TBSP brown sugar
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup mashed banana (about 2 bananas)
- ¾ cup Greek yogurt (I used the Banana & Cinnamon flavor from Siggi's)
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup applesauce
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Line a muffin tin with 14 paper liners and set aside.
- Combine all wet ingredients and the sugars. Mix well.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and then pour batter into muffin tins.
- Bake for 14 - 18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
