Chocolate Banana Muffins

Serves: 14 muffins
Ingredients
  • ⅔ cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 TBSP cocoa powder
  • 2 TBSP brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup mashed banana (about 2 bananas)
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt (I used the Banana & Cinnamon flavor from Siggi's)
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup applesauce
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Line a muffin tin with 14 paper liners and set aside.
  2. Combine all wet ingredients and the sugars. Mix well.
  3. Slowly add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips and then pour batter into muffin tins.
  5. Bake for 14 - 18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
