Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth and creamy. If necessary, add a bit more liquid to help blend things better, but keep in mind that you want this smoothie thick enough to pour into a bowl.
Add a few ice cubes if mixture becomes too runny, and continue to blend until smooth.
Pour smoothie into a bowl and top with desired toppings: nuts, seeds, unsweetened coconut flakes, cinnamon, fruit, muesli, granola, etc.
