½ cupfrozen cauliflower floretsor riced cauliflower
½ cupfrozen sliced zucchini
½ cupplain Greek yogurt *
1TBSPpeanut butteror nut butter of choice
2TBSP cacao powderor unsweetened cocoa powder
1TBSPchia seeds
1tsp.ground cinnamon
½ - ¾ cupunsweetened almond milk
½ tsp. vanilla extractoptional
3-4ice cubesoptional
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If necessary, add additional almond milk or some ice cubes in order to reach desired consistency.
Pour smoothie into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings: fruit, sliced bananas, a drizzle of peanut butter, cacao nibs, unsweetened shredded coconut, etc.
Notes
If you want to make this recipe dairy-free, simply sub the yogurt for a non-dairy version, or you can also use applesauce or canned pumpkin (you won't taste it!)
