Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 small frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen cauliflower florets or riced cauliflower
  • ½ cup frozen sliced zucchini
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt *
  • 1 TBSP peanut butter or nut butter of choice
  • 2 TBSP cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 TBSP chia seeds
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ½ - ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract optional
  • 3-4 ice cubes optional

Instructions
 

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If necessary, add additional almond milk or some ice cubes in order to reach desired consistency. 
  • Pour smoothie into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings: fruit, sliced bananas, a drizzle of peanut butter, cacao nibs, unsweetened shredded coconut, etc. 

Notes

If you want to make this recipe dairy-free, simply sub the yogurt for a non-dairy version, or you can also use applesauce or canned pumpkin (you won't taste it!)
