Tropical Green Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • ½ frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen mango or pineapple or a blend
  • ½ cup frozen zucchini
  • ½ cup frozen cauliflower
  • 1 TBSP nut butter
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • 1 TBSP ground flaxseed
  • 1-2 large handfuls fresh spinach
  • ¾ cup almond milk, coconut water, or liquid of choice
  • Handful of ice if necessary

Method
 

  1. Add all the ingredients, except ice, to your blender. 
  2. Blend until desired consistency is reached. You may need to add more liquid in order to reach desired consistency. Keep in mind that you want it to be thick enough to pour into a bowl, so only add the minimum amount of liquid needed to blend. 
  3. If you add too much liquid, add a few ice cubes to thicken it up. 
  4. Pour into a bowl and top with desired toppings: unsweetened shredded coconut flakes, chia seeds, granola, cacao nibs, fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, etc.
